Alexandria MN to Bowlus MN
Another day riding on the bike path through farm land and lakes. We moved faster today passing fields of corn, soybeans, wheat, and what we thought looked like lettuce turned out to be sugar beets.
Minnesota is very pretty and we have enjoyed riding the bike path. At the end of the trail we arrived in a great little community called Bowlus. This wonderful little town loves cyclists. We ate home made food at Jordie's Trail Side Cafe. Jordie showed us where we could camp in the city park across the street with nice, clean restrooms in the pavilion located there.
Mr. Overman, pictured below planted flowers and put in the decorative gardens
pictured above along the bicycle trail.
