Day Twenty Five - a day in Glacier National Park

Day 25
June 10th
Wednesday
62 Miles
from Apgar to Logan Pass and back
Amazing views of Glacier!

We decided to ride Going to the Sun Road today and see the beautiful views it had to offer.  This was a good day to do this, the road was only open to bicycles and hikers.  It was so nice to enjoy this ride 1) without pulling our trailer and 2) without constantly looking for cars.

While we did not see a single bear we did see a young moose.  He never saw us so we enjoyed watching him meander down the river then trot across the road about 100 yards in front of us where he disappeared in the brush. As we rode there were waterfalls of all sizes too numerous to count and the weeping wall was like nothing we have ever seen.  The river was crystal clear running the length of the glacial valley to Lake McDonald. We loved it and can honestly say there are no words to describe the beauty we saw and pictures cannot capture what we experienced.
